I began collecting Matchbox cars at a young age. My parents would always let me get one at the grocery store. I became enamored with collecting them, no two were alike. During that time, I had a Matchbox version of an Audi R8. I told myself I would have an R8 in my garage.. one day! That day was my 29th birthday! My dream car was sitting in my garage! I did it! I had been looking for an R8 for a little over a year, had been bamboozled on one by a not so great dealership....and then....this one became available and I snagged it. I did it a little backwards and researched the car after the purchase, but I found out the Audi has the Exclusive Selection Edition, which brings Ibis White paint, contrasted with black-painted side blades and mirrors, as well as the dark-tinted taillights from the R8 GT. The interior scores several white-painted trim pieces, Alabaster White contrast stitching on leather components, and carbon fiber trim. The v10 engine makes it even better! This car will always be in my garage! Fun, fast, eye catching styling, and memorable as my first supercar.
